Dow Corning’s Application Engineering Manager Jinlong Yang will talk about “Reliable silicone solutions for LED lighting assembly” at the 2010 LED Summit in New Delhi, India. The summit will be held at the Pragati Maidan on December 17 and 18. Jinlong will make his presentation on December 17 from 17:00 to 17:30 (5:00 to 5:30 p.m.).

Jinlong will focus on how to improve reliability in LED lighting and assemblies with Dow Corning® brand encapsulants & pottants, adhesives & sealants , conformal coatings and thermally conductive materials. Dow Corning’s silicone materials offer sustainable solutions to the increasing customer demand for smaller, faster, brighter, less expensive LED-based electronic devices and assemblies. Attempts to meet these requests can result in inefficiencies that may reduce performance and reliability. Jinlong’s presentation reveals how customers may find that many of these challenges, combined with environmental stresses in LED device and lamp assemblies, might be solved with the unique properties and benefits of Dow Corning silicone material solutions.
